  • Certified YogaBellies Teachers and Trainees

    If you have undertaken any YogaBellies Teacher Training, you can apply to become a licensed teacher. Our 200 and 300 hour students and teachers receive automatic acceptance.

  • Birth ROCKS Graduates and Students

    Any registered Birth or Baby ROCKS student or mentor can enroll as a Licensed YogaBellies Teacher

  • Other Yoga and Birth Professionals

    Other yoga, women's wellness and birth and baby professionals may apply to become YogaBellies licensed teachers on undertaking certain YogaBellies trainings.

A concept created by founder Cheryl MacDonald to empower women throughout life using feminine yoga practices.

Cheryl's main focus in establishing YogaBellies was to empower women through yoga and to help them to have a sustainable career as yoga teachers. 


The main thing that yoga teacher training lacks is someone who actually has the experience of creating a successful yoga business; I have this and I want to share it with as many teachers as possible!

YogaBellies represents an umbrella organisation for women’s yoga and wellness businesses (including our BRA mentors) who share a common vision and values. We are now open to existing businesses and yoga teachers who can simply undertake our teacher training learnings and teach their own flavour of YogaBellies offering, under their own brand. For example, OM MOMS CLUB is part of YogaBellies collective, but own company teaching own techniques and classes based on yogabellies principals and values.

What Does It Mean To Be A Licensed YogaBellies Teacher?

Established for 15 years as one of the world's leading yoga collectives for women, multiple yoga and business award - and Dragons's Den - winner, Cheryl will support you on your yoga business journey. YogaBellies classes are a global phenomenon that have featured heavily in the press and even been embraced by celebrities.

You can become a Licensed YogaBellies Teacher, whether you want to teach under the YogaBellies name or not. So even if you want to call your business 'Sarah Jane Yoga', you can still be 'Sarah Jane Yoga offering YogaBellies for Pregnancy classes', for example. We don't take a percentage of your earnings and you can run your business as you wish.

  • How does the licence work?

    The ongoing subscription fees are shown below: 50GBP per month for a 6-months licence 45GBP per month for a 12-month licence paying monthly 500GBP (equates to 40GBP per month) per annum (payable in full on sign up) You can choose to cancel your licence at any time after your subscription block ends. If you wish to become a licensed teacher now, you can join up here and get immediate access to your mini site, searchable listing and resources.

  • Can I start teaching YogaBellies branded classes and be listed on your website?

    Yes! On completion of our core training courses, you can apply to become a Licensed YogaBellies Teacher, meaning you will have your own mini-site on www.yogabellies.com, where you can list your classes and be instantly searchable worldwide. You will also have ongoing access to our International Teachers Lounge for support on your yoga journey, use of our pre-written class plans, social media templates, business tools and brand exposure. Becoming a licensed teacher is completely optional and application is no guarantee of approval.

  • Is YogaBellies a franchise?

    No, we no longer offer a franchise model. YogaBellies now offers stand-alone yoga teacher training for all women and practitioners, with no obligatory fees, restrictions or ongoing commitments. There is also an optional opportunity to become a Licensed YogaBellies Teacher, where you can teach our branded class plans and be listed and searchable on our website. There is no obligation to do so and you can do this, even if you currently have your own yoga business, e.g. OM Mums Club, Dubai is listed on our website as having been trained by YogaBellies and practising the methods.
